That was a brief post, Z!!

Anyways, should the movie leave the future of humanity open for a sequel TV series that - after having seen the flick this weekend:

Would anyone watch it!!!

(I'll be seeing it Saturday night so will be curious to find out my answer!!)

Do we have women submariners? Cause I assume they'll make it. Perhaps some cross-ocean cruise ships too. And whoever is up in space at the time.

Does this whole idea sound like a prequel to Waterworld? Or is it just me?

And no right now the US Navy does not allow women in subs yet. I think I heard of an official Navy program aimed toward changing that late last year for female officers but it hasnt been done yet. Training I suppose.

Actually if it's anything like the UK Royal Navy, it's a lot more basic than that. It's purely down to accommodation and toilet/washing facilities. Subs aren't built with separate facilities for women right now. That's not to say it won't change in the future, but for now there isn't the space to fit them in.

Well I went to see it tonight.

It's definitely worth seeing for the sheer lavishness of the destruction (even if some of it is only briefly shown, Hawaii returned to a Volcanically active fireball etc) but everything else is deliriously stupid!!!

Although I did see the second more action packed and plot explaining Avatar trailer which is far, far better than the ho-hum first one.

I have a feeling it might do quite well.
