Talking Igotitigotitigotit!!!

Well, i've got it: the 2dvdbox of Star Trek. And in one word: wow!
The first dvd contains the movie and it was a thrillride once more to see it at home (quite a few times already).
The second dvd is a jewel.
Besided the extra's like interviews and so on, it contains a section with deleted scenes.

In those deleted scenes.... Klingons! Yeah! And boy, they look great! I won't tell much, but it's good to see and hopefully we will see more of them in future movies. First impression on those helmets was: did Darth Vader gave his rejected helmet designs to the Klingons, or what? But never mind that idea, those Klingons look awesome. And yes they spoke Klingon.

The second thing is the gag reel. Did they all pitch in on that one or what? I've never laughed that loud at Star Trek bloopers before. It's worth the price of the extra dvd all by itself. I won't tell much, but the extra scene where Chris Pine and Zach Quinto as Kirk and Spock act with a Scottish accent is hilarious.

I give the 2dvd 5 out of 5 stars. It couldn't be done any better. Hats off for all those involved in this rebirth of Star Trek, my compliments.
It's been great fun to see it in the theatre, it's a great pleasure to own it on dvd and i am really, really, REALLY looking forward to the next movie.

Cheers, my friends!

Ah... apparently, I'm not the first to secure a copy... there are quite a few upgrades included in the Blu-ray edition... can't wait to take an open-world tour of the abrams'prise.
