There's some rumblings happening over across the street at startrek.com, the new admin is saying there may be some action in the works by CBS to go after Star Trek fan sites and message boards...some say it sounds similar to the " '96 Purge" when Paramount went after fan sites and such.

Now we know that CBS is the titular owner of Star Trek, but Paramount Pictures also has a stake in the Star Trek game, indeed Paramount encouraged the existence of fan sites when it started the Trek Webmaster Program prior to the release of ST:XI. My boards "sb63's Star Trek Logs" is a member of the Webmaster Program.

If CBS does pursue that kind of action, does Paramount have any say about it, especially if CBS were to go after a site that was approved of by Paramount?
