Anyone here in this fourm got the New Movie Uniforms at all ,

Either the Deluxe or Grand Heritage ones . I ve got two of the Deluxe version ones i have Spocks and Scotty's uniform tops . But i m a little unhappy with the quailty in the neck park of the uniform.

Yea the reason i m unhappy in the neck park it s too lose than the uniform it self and it does nt fit the neck well .

Im waiting on Captain Kirks to arrive in the Deluxe Verison but i m waiting the other trekkies views on them as what yous think of them as well .

That would be nice to see some pics. Tell me, since they are COSTUMES, how did Rubies do in terms of getting them to look like the uniforms from the movie?

I have the Deluxe Captain's uniform, with the embroidered insignia.

For the money, it's actually pretty good. There are some details omitted, but the color and basic look are right.

The rank stripes on the cuffs are this reflective, silver braid-like material, rather than the smooth silver strips seen in the movie.

The breast insignia is embroidered into the uniform rather than a solid pin, something the Best Buy Blu-Ray will remedie.

The black dickie used to represent the undershirt should be removed, and replaced with an actual black undershirt, as it is sewn into the collar and fits poorly.

The delta-pattern and color are correct, and other than the issues mentioned, they look the part.

I bought the Uhura dress (Rubies) a couple of weeks ago, actually had to get it altered because it was too big (it was a size Small!!). I really wish they made it in blue because I would have loved to pay homage to Spock and McCoy but oh well... I hope they get some for the next movie.

Anyhoo, it is what it is and it's just some cheap polyester but for the price, it's fine. I was expecting the colour to be slightly different though. I thought the red would be darker for some reason. But I'm still happy with it. I already had the high boots to wear with it and now I might buy a ponytail so the costume can be complete.

And when I get my camera to work again, I'll post some pictures.

Hi Capt-Kirk here posting on my thread as i just recieved another uniform top today at 11am.

The Uniform top i got is the black top that Jimmy Kirk wore before he got hs gold uniform at the end of the Movie .

I think the black top is a part of the uniform but cadet top is nt it .

Anyway got that today and i like it very well and what i ll do is i ll post pix s with spocks and scotty s shirts very soon i promise you all.
