If that was the case then Shatner would've sunk Trek almost out of the gates. A lot of actors are/were difficult to work with and most likely damaged their careers somewhat because of it but I think it seldom sinks a movie if their "screen presence" is popular. For the longest time you never new what was true and what was rumor concerning celebrities but now with Youtube* and the 'net in general we may see more sinking careers than ever.

*Shatner being a good example.

If Whedon got hold of it, he could probably do good things with SCC. I'd love to see that show come back...

The actors will have moved on to other things.

Unless he wants to make a $50 million feature film sequel that doubles as a series finale. We know he can do that, and quite effectively too.

Speaking of which, I wonder if anybody's still watching Dollhouse. Supposedly I still am, although I keep forgetting I have all four of this season's episodes DVR'ed.

I am watching it. But the series put it all on hold.

They should have mined this Title long ago...they tried now and it was unimaginative and used alot of favoritism that Hollywood is known for.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles was a good show, I was sad to see that get cancelled.

I agree, Bale's moment was unlikely to have sunk an entire franchise. The ugly truth is just that the film was not good enough to deserve to be a success.

Anyway he first thing I thought of in respect of Bale was that, given the weak performance he gave, the whole rant seemed terribly ironic.

I just wish Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was still on. I loved that show.
