Well, that's the shot from the "non-working" camera on ncc-1701.com.

I don't think it's smoky, I just think it's dark and poor quality...on purpose. I also can believe its an Enterprise corridor.

Well, if we accept the idea of the time travelling Romulan, and we take it a step further and give him a ship in which to travel, then his ship coming into that time frame might "over ride" the signal of the construction camera and give a glimpse of the inside of his ship....it's not hard to imagine the "security detail" assigned to monitor the cameras having a bad moment when one of them gets a glimpse of something weird but can't recapture it to show the rest {just a fanciful way to show it could be explained away in the movie}....Or, it could be an Enterprise corridor...no reason at all to suppose they will all be white and shiny....especially early in the construction process.

I don't know that I accept the idea of a time-travelling Romulan...yet.

It's from NCC-1701.com the paramount owned viral site. Also Reposted on Trekmovie.com the oficialist unofficial Trek Movie News website there is.

Well, and nothing's been confirmed about Romulans. That's mostly fan speculation because NO details have been released apart from Original Spock being in the movie.

It's the current favorite theory...I don't buy it for a moment, but was just pointing out that almost anything can be explained by a bit of creative thinking.
