I think Harry Potter movies and other British movies also had something to do with it. they could hardly release HP in the US 6 weeks before it was released here since all the filming was here and most of the actors are British, even though the parent company making it is American. There would have been hell to pay. So I think that started the release dates being reduced.

Don't understand the weird release dates for ST XI though.

I started to order one from this site, then I realized "DUH" This disc won't be region 1 so it won't play over here in the States! I'm glad I checked. I really like the ship/disc case.

I have few questions for omegaman. 1. How does the Enterprise case come packaged? 2. I'm going to assume that some assembly is required, if so how easy is it to take apart to put back in the packaging? On a related note, still nothing up on Target's site. But I would assume that if they're going to carry it that it wouldn't be up on their site until early November at the earliest.
