Default KIRK - Will he rip his shirt??

(Don't know if this has been pointed out yet)

As its made fun of in just about every TV show, Kirk rips his shirt. Will Abrams pay homge to the tradition of TOS and have Kirk's shirt randomly rip at some point during the movie? Do we even want Kirk's shirt to rip??

I would say it's a safe bet to assume there will be a torn shirt at some point in the movie.

If I had to fancy a guess, I would say that a ripped Kirk shirt will probably be seen. Though I would also guess there will end up being a legitimate reason for it, rather than just to have it for the fans...

Depends wether he is doing a remake of trek or a remake of galaxy quest.

If the story called for it but not just for the hell of it.

I'm sure they will find a way for Kirk to loose his shirt.

Rip it....of course, couch it in a way to make it seem legit (like, he's just the only one who can't take a hypospray through his shirt).

I'll go along with it, a 'logical' shirt-rip amid action which would cause it (fight, battle attack damage) would be a fun touch... as long as they don't make it "just" for a silly gag.
