Default The enterprise finale

I"m still having problems with the episode within a episode(pegasus epsiode)when it episode aired, admiral pressman ordered riker not to tell anyone including picard about the real reason for their mission, but when these are the voyages was done,he tells deanna the truth, which means he disobeyed an direct order, what did anyone else think about TATV?.

What can I say? It's appalling.

Troi would have been bound by doctor-client confidentiality, so, besides a priest, she was probably the only person he could have discussed the issue with. However, he should probably have generalised a little more rather than telling her specifics.

Still feel cheated by the episode though - Enterprise deserved a better finale than that.

See my "These Are The Voyages..." thread in the ENTERPRISE section to see my comments on this episode! (I'm too lazy to write them here)

I'll give you a hint: I loved it, and I thought it was well done and well written.

I'd assume this was why he could talk to her about it.

AA, usually I agree with alot of your posts. Did you watch a diffrent cut of "These Are The Voyages..." than the one I saw??

"These Are The Voyages..." is by and far the worst episode of ENT made.

I don't hate it as much as some, but I agree that it didn't quite work.

The only good part of that episode was the epilogue with "Space, the final frontier... etc." I thought THAT was well done, but the rest of the episode?

I think I was one of the few who saw TATV as it was intended to be seen, as more of a finale for all of Star Trek than just an ENTERPRISE finale. That, plus the fact that I've actually seen very few ENTERPRISE episodes overall (I HATED the Xindi story arc), plus my love for TNG combined together make this episode one of my favorite Star Trek episodes. I liked that we saw the foundation of the federation, and I liked seeing more of TNG, plus the fact that ENTERPRISE was finally linked to the other shows via the holodeck, which I thought was ingeniously used.

The only thing I didn't like was killing off Trip, which produced little to no emotion for me because it has been done so freaking many times, it's not funny anymore.
