Well, there is also the Kirk doctrine as alternative, don't screw your own crew. But I'd first check the STD risk of the region you are heading to (space is disease and danger if you don't wrap ...), Orion syphilis is spreading pretty fast, especially in the Beta Quadrant.
And there is of course also the Janeway doctrine, just screw holograms.

I wonder if you could have an entire crew made of holograms.

Here is my booty call crew

Captain:- Kathryn Janeway (OK I'm not gay but you need a competent captain)
1st officer:- Nathan Fillion from Firely (hubba hubba)
Comms/ops:- Harry Kim
conn:- Mark Webber (F1 driver)
Doctor: George Clooney when he was in ER
Tactical: Chandler from Friends
Chief Engineer: I'd go to a Sci fi convention and pick up the cutest geek there cos I bet they would know all there is to know about warp engines
Science Officer: Colin Firth
