Default Why not continue with space folding?

In the episode "Prime Factors," members of the crew swap the database of stories from voyager for space folding technology. They do it with out the permission of Janeway. When they try the technology, it is not compatible with Starfleet technology and fails. Something to do with them not taking anti-neutrenos into account. Ignoring the fact, I have no clue what that means, does anyone know why they didn't keep trying and use what they had learned to fold space in a way that was compatible with Starfleet technology? Did Janeway's ego stop any further development or would it just have been too boring to put into more episodes?

I don't remember the episode, but usually VOY gave ample reasons for why space folding, or slipstream drive, or transwarp or whatever they came up with does not work.
I forgot warp 10, after you reach infinite speed and occupy every place in one moment you become a lizzie.

I think that Janeway should have made a deal with Q, impregnation (or however Q and humans reproduce) for 80.000 lightyears.

My mother, who also enjoys Trek always thought it would be Q that brought them home.

I have to say, had I been Janeway, I'd have made the pregnancy deal with Q. Especially considering she wasn't getting any younger

No more trouble with antimatter supplies, decent food instead of leola root dishes ... but is raising a Q brat really worth all this?
