What, some logic thing, IDIC, some Vulcan thing, right? There's a lot of infinite diversity flying around these threads, I'm getting dizzy. Maybe you can't love us all.

We should see toilets in Star Trek.

We should see crewmembers showing in liquid, not "sonic showers" (nothing TOO explicit), shaving (with razors, not devices with glowing lights) and combing their hair (with a comb).

Simple things that humanise them and make them seem like real people.

WOW, not asking for much, are you?

I'd be happy with tiny baby steps in that direction, like uniforms with POCKETS.

I've decided I can love you all...it's a big step for me, so be patient while I embrace it...

I think TOS wanted to show bathrooms...I can't imagine any other reason we were so often given the view of shirtless Kirk, fresh out of the shower....so, why not have a character interupted while "defoliating" or whatever means they use to remove the facial hair is?

Absolutely. Pockets make sense.

There's always an obsession in Star Trek to make almost anything seem "futuristic"

The most absurd example was the EMH playing golf....with a ball that had a flashing light in it.

Yes, that was even more ridiculous than Janeway's futuristic tennis racquet that looked like a minature surf board!

but I agree with you all, that was the side-point, of this thread, we never see them do , "normal"things other that drink and eat. Or dance at some wedding

Whoa people...
Bathing: TNG's Genesis and Insurrection (also shaving with a blade)
Dance and wedding: TNG's Data's Day and Nemesis

Yeah, and we saw Belana take a sonic shower too....but still, no potties. We have no idea how teeth cleaning happens...
