That should have been included on the Blu Ray sets! Fantastic! Just as senseless and enjoyable as the film itself!

That makes partly up for the ridiculous plot.
That's the biggest reason for my enjoyment of it as well. The rest is just spectacularly cheesy and quite funny at times.

Thanks for the advice folks. I will watch them in sequence. Don't worry about the bad story lines. I've managed to survive the VOY episode "Threshold". I guess after that a dodgy movie or two is easy going

If you can get through all of Voyager, then the movies definitely won't be a problem.

You may or may not know this - but as you pointed out 'Threshold' there's an interesting precursor to that in Star Trek III.

I didn't but I will certainly watch out for it, thanks

I know I promised to watch the movies about 7 weeks ago and have not got round to it yet. But today I watched The Motion Picture. On the whole it was quite a good movie though I thought the ending was a bit lame. The general idea was no worse that many star trek episodes. For the time that the movie was created, I thought the special effects were pretty good. The acting was fine, no major complaints there.

Tomorrow I plan to watch TWOK
