Default Watching the movies for the first time

This may sound like a stupid question, but I am planning to watch ST I-X.

Am I better to watch them in number sequence or is there a better way to watch them?

Unless I have a particular desire to watch one by itself, I'd normally watch in sequence.

Be prepared for ups and downs. It's a very up and down series in terms of story quality. That especially goes for the odd numbered films of the bunch.

Yes, when you watch V you will wonder why it looks like the backdrop of an 80's rock group video.

Watching the thirteenth movie "The Wrath of Mudd and Khan's Insurrection" on a Friday the 13th is said to bring bad luck.
Damnit, now I revealed that I am a time traveler.

Sorry, but I keep expecting Heart to arrive and break into 'Alone' when they hit the bar on the peace planet.

And Klaa's hair? And outfit? He's straight out of a Billy Idol/Guns 'n' Roses vid!!
