Glad we didn't get THIS either (another early Probert design for the D)

I think so, for second act cliffhanger, but not at the end
exactly, any point in the movie it is destroyed or defeated.
I think it's a bit soon to start going down the 'destroy the Enterprise again' route.

It's like 5 minutes old.
