Well, it is just a small science vessel... Those names are rather important sounding...

Assuming you mean Asimov, he's a great scifi person primarily, so not for this class...

And as for the rest, I think I would be right in saying that they are all American?

I have nothing against Americans, nor America - but Trek is an American idea, and as such, is completely overrun with references to America, and great Americans.

I think the rest of the world needs a chance!

Thank you, though, for the Salk class idea, I am quite taken with it! (I don't actually like the name itself though, but naming it after the person who gave us the polio vaccine I like.)
