I'd like to see new animation in the new movie's timeline. They can fill in the gaps between the first one and the upcoming sequel.

They should ask Shatner to voice a new series.

He could play Kirk from the end of VI and before he gets
on Enterprise B.

A new command of a new ship, after he decides not to retire.
