Default Who should be a red shirt in the sequel?

Kayan West. He should be standing near a containment chamber during maintenance. Some how, the magnetic restrictors engage, ripping the iron from his body and he collapses. No! There should be a brief flash of radiation from the impulse engines that damage his vocal cords, rendering him speechless. The role should be so traumatic that he doesn't speak any more and causes him to avoid the bright lights at award ceremonies.

Just a thought.

Any other candidates?

Well, if West is too busy trashing fellow musicians, I'll be all too happy to offer my services as Red Shirt.

It would be an honor.
