Default The NFL no holds barred bar room brawl thread

I know we have a few NFL fans here, so I thought I would start a football thread. If it gets attention perhaps it will stay around throughout the season. Steelers VS Titans tonight to kickoff the 2009 season and it should be a great game between two strong defensive teams. Are you ready for some football? I know I am.

Polamalu was hot tonight! Good thing that knee wasn't too banged up.

Hey, we haven't discussed the whuppin' which the Jets spooned up to the Giants a few weeks back!

Have you checked out NFL.Com? The game graphics are pretty sweet.

Giants wideouts could not catch a cold in that game until the 3rd quarter. Biggest question mark on that team will be which one of these young guys steps their game up.

Big loss to that Steelers team in Polamalu, that guy is a future hall of famer. Great game to kickoff the season. Physical defense, those missed field goals cost the Titans bigtime.

I check out NFL.com for the postgame highlights sometimes, I didn't really look at their preseason coverage that much.

What a great start to the season. They really hit each other in the mouth out there, what a defensive struggle. Last man standing, out right awesome.

TEXANS and JETS will be coming up Sunday in Houston.

Jets/Texans game should be an interesting matchup, looking forward to seeing what Sanchez can do now that the bullets are flying for real. I'[m a big fan of Andre Johnson as well, he may be the best wideout in the NFL.

Some great games yesterday, Giants get a hard fought win over the Redskins, Sanchez played a great game for the Jets and showed why they moved up to get him, Favre made a living handing off to Adrian Peterson who rumbled for 180 yards. Eagles and Dallas both won (with an injury to McNabb, broken ribs), it looks like the NFC East will be a battle once again. God I love this time of year!
