It's still a bit early - this (like Star Trek) is the machine just starting up.

Holy FRAK!

Yeah, I wanna see this movie! It looks as if Jim Cameron took elements from a few of his previous endeavors: ALIENS, The Terminator, and The Abyss, mixed in a little Roland Emmerich's StarGate, and came up with what looks like a kick a** flick.

I'll probably see it in both 2D and 3D. I bet the difference will be out of this world!

Well, the second trailer is about to be relased, but you can watch it (albeit in smaller, poorer quality) on AICN here: http://www.aintitcool.com/node/42888

Still looks interesting, but I still don't think it will be as big of a hit as Cameron hopes it will be.

Given the spend it will have to do exceptionally well to make a profit.

However, that's not for me to worry about. I'll go see it and if it's good, then great. If it's bad, it happens.

Well, I'm interested in box office numbers, so the whole thing is interesting to me.

I like Box Office numbers as well, just mean that whatever end up is not within any of my control.

And while it might hurt the studio, if it flopped it would be unlikely to derail Cameron's career too much at this stage.

True.

For whatever reason, I still feel that it won't live up to the hype. Mind you, this latest trailer reengaged my interest. I had lost it almost completely with the first trailer.
