He's playing against a guy who can see through all of the cards and an empath who can tell when anyone is bluffing. How does he win?

LaForge would have to go with the honor system. Riker's a good enough player to keep his emotions in check with Troi and Worf sucks. I think Data was generally his biggest threat but was no better at figuring out the bluff than anyone else.

Geordi might be able to see through the cards, but can he read what's on the other side? As Riker knows Troi well, he should have an easy time to hide his feelings.
Data's card counting and knowledge about the probability of every possible combination should make him the only opponent Riker has to fear and it's not like Data cannot learn to bluff. |

Actually I think it was, at least as far as Worf sucking at poker. It's the one constant every time they played.

Hmmm, maybe. I don't ever remember him winning but then I don't have Data's total recall either.
