This is the only board I visit at this point in time, cause every other one ends up being nothing but people fighting about politics. That's why I'm glad we can't really do that here. We can fight about geeky stuff instead!

Well, nobody at my house understands Trek. Dear husband and #1 son saw the movie with me and I was able to get all of a 5 minute conversation about it out of them...and that was me doing the talking. So, I'm happy to have a place where Star Trek is appreciated.

Too, I know there's several ladies who understand when I say I fell in love with Spock as a 9 year-old and the torch's flame still burns brightly.

I keep telling you... the cast is signed for at least another two films... that means this board will be up for AT LEAST another six years, since it will be much more cost effective for Paramount to keep this board established as a marketing tool, rather than restarting it for each consecutive film.

I'd hope that those secret identities would be for people who have some say in how things happen. That way all our ranting and raving about what happened to Trek will have some meaning.
