Plus I allways figured he died bravely during the Earth-Romulan wars (or at some point after), when I am sure he got called back into command.
Well Zardoz, you have to remember about TNG and how the orgininal cast was in their 100's in the story line. Humans have lived longer due to changes in genes and life-style changes.

I don't think that they will show Archer in the movie but may mention him and his father.

But that is in the TOS to TNG era. I thought that stuff (except for Spock, cause Vulcans do live to 200+) was kinda silly. Except Scotty too, since he was the same age as he was in Trek 6, he has just been stuck in a transporter buffer for 75 years.

Rememebr Archer's time was alot more rough. i can see him giving his life for earth in the Earth-Romulan wars, as a hero.

I totally agree they will get mentioned.

Well, until someone official at Paramount calls the abomination titled "These are the Voyages..." apocryphal to Star Trek canon, Archer survived the Earth-Romulan War (which is generally accepted as having taken place around 2156-2160, before the founding of the Federation).

TJ-

Forgot that!! Thanks!! :-)

"These" could have been done better, yes. Not the best final episode.

I am sure he found a way to command ships again. maybe he spent those years training others?

Speaking of "These are the Voyages" I do hope they put the title sequence or somewhere in the movie: Space the final fronteir, these are the Voyages of the Starship Enterprise.

Sorry couldn't help myself.

Maybe they'll find Archer on some asteroid married to an energy being just like the found Cocrhane on an asteroid married to an energy being.

I can see it happening with the launch of the Enterprise, depending on the storyline of course.

I could see a ship or shuttle called Archer, but outside of that, I doubt there will be any mention.
