lol, my babysitter used to make her own cough syrup. At the time i just knew I liked it, but years later my mom told it was Whiskey and Peppermints. Mmmmmm, cough, cough...

No biggie, i was just trying to continue in the light hearted spirit of the thread. But seriously, if you look on a bottle of real Scotland origin Scotch, there's no "e" in the word "Whisky". In the dictionary, it says it can be spelled either way. In the U.S. and Canada, "Whiskey" is made with corn and other grains, but in Scotland, only Barley and water are used. Uh...........and Star Trek!

I think the only thing worth worrying about is whether or not he can do a Scottish accent, because he can act.
I have only seen him in his Doctor Who role though. |

I would watch anything just because Simon Pegg was in it. I just saw run fatboy run last night and the guys sense of comic timing is perfect and without sending trek into spoof material he will be perfect for Scotty.

It also helps that he is a Sci-Fi fan too. So, he will not try to over act the part and disrespect anything.
