On the "5 life signs" Here's a link to the script: http://www.hundland.com/scripts/StarTrekGenerations.txt They find one person alive but wounded (Crusher stops to treat) then Riker and Worf encounter two bodies. Did they just die, so Data would have read them as alive? Then they find the dead Romulan, we also don't know when he died.

However, it's clear from what Picard says later that more than two scientists were rescued from the station ("we'll allow you and your fellow scientists back aboard the station"), so they flubbed letting us know about at least one rescue.

I think Soran has to get primary blame because he was the reason the Romulans came to the station in the first place.

Well in the PC game, you were Riker and had to save the survivors!

Did you successfully save all of them and transport them to the Enterprise?

Of course! It was the very first mission of the game... unfortunately it crashes on XP
Also note that on the Amargosa station there is a reference to TOS design!

It's probably another one of those line flubs that was overlooked and seen as unimportant...

I'll see if I can get some pictures of the consoles...

So, here we have a TOS console behind Worf, a TOS sign behind Data, even a TOS Companel! In the probe room, there is the yellow/red curve display again. It's from Scotty's bridge console, I think.

This makes clear that even the TOS style buttons are movie canon!

True. It's funny because Bragga and Moore fail to mention it in the commentary.
