Default Six Million Dollar Man-The Movie

I think if they use the Cyborg (Books the show was based on) Trilogy, I think they'd make a good film that's fresh, but has a few elements of the TV show.

In the novels Steve is very bitter, and even sucicidal in the first novel, until he's forced to accept his new body.

I'm not sure if this is a fan made trailer, or an aborted attempt?

If they actually make this movie, I'd prefer somebody else rather than Will Smith.

Will is a good enough actor he could do it. When he plays it serious, he's amazing. When he's just doing action hero, he can be a bit trying.

That's the problem. If he would do it, I think it would turn out like Hancock...

But Hancock was meant to be superheo/comedy.

Wait and see, a Six Million Dollar Man big budget remake is bound to fall into the wrong writer's hands...and then we'll end up with a parody of it.

Aren't they doing that with Green Hornet too?

But if they use the novels as source material, then the movie would rock.

Agreed. Maybe if they get Orci and Kurtzman to write it?

I found Hancock to be a very confused film; or at best, a film with a split personality.

As for the idea of a Six-Million-Dollar-Man film, I don't think I'd want to see Wil in that simply because everyone would probably expect it, or not be surprised at the idea.
Try someone different and surprise everyone, dammit.
