Post Uniforms-Should Women Get To Wear Pants?

Personally I was never a big fan of the mini-skirt uniform for women on TOS.

It looked much more realistic to have the "Where No Man" uniform with the pants for women.

What do you guys think??

As much as I would LOVE to see the ladies in a mini-skirt in the new movie, I think that was a 60's thing. Military "type" personal should not wear distracting things.

Unless they are working along side Zap Branigan, then they must also wear Velure...

In "The Cage", and "Where No Man Has Gone Before", they did wear pants. But some modern armies, navies and air forces do have uniforms for women that include a skirt. Shute, come to think of it the Scots have gone into battle wearing kilts for hundreds of years, and they're men! So hey, let's have a little skirt love here, o.k.?

It's just in the 23rd century, I have hard time beliving that women would still be made to wear a skirt in a para-military organization.

I have nothing against skirts/kilts in general.

Yea, when my mom was in the army, her uniform was also a short skirt...
Way hot.

I love the skirts of TOS...I think it went well in the overall show as the
women weren't very combatant, anyways.

I hope that changes with the new movie. I want to see stronger female roles, and curent movie trends seem to back me up on this.

I'm all for strong women figures (as I am a woman) but come on, I want some mini-skirts! Lol. At least in their dress uniform?
