Default return of the living dead

man , i bought the first and the second.i dont know guys , i dont like zombie movies, give me the creeps, but this one is a pure comedy, nicely directed by dan o bannon, the screenwriter of the first alien.

the second one , part 2 is a mixed bag,we have the 2 actors from the first, james karen and the freddy dude, both of them are again transformed into zombies

part 2 has some good moments , but it lets u down

i dont know about part 3 ,4 whatever , they must must be very mediocre

here's the trailer:

Yeah ROTLD 1 is a comedy/horror classic, II sucked, III is really good. The last intallment of this series I saw was ROTLD Necorpolis, which featured a city of living dead folks.

The first one definitely had the best story. And it was the directing debut of Dan O'Bannon, the guy who played Lt. Pinback in "Dark Star" and who also wrote "Alien" and "Blue Thunder." This movie also has some fond memories attached to it, since I got to meet and hang out with Linea Quigley (Trash) during one Halloween season, when she was doing a guest spot at a haunted house we were running. She did tell us about her striptease scene in that film that she nearly froze her butt off, and that it was a little embarassing to have to wear a makup appliance that essentially "neutered" her for those scenes.

"You mean the movie LIED?"

"Babe, I love you, but I have to eat your brain!"
