WAR (a Russian film about the Chechen conflict. I guarantee you've never seen it, which is unfortunate since it's a very powerful movie)

I think that was Wolfgang Peterson's intent. To show that war is hell on both sides. And it was done quite effectively.

Here's a trivia question for you:

What do two of the movie's stars (Jurgen Prochnow and Uwe Ochsenknecht ) have in common? (aside from their nation of origin...LOL!)

Gung Ho(WWII Movie has nothing to do with the 80's film about cars.)
