A mirror universe series could work, but not without being able to compare it to the primary universe or have some kind of involvement with it. Or the viewer would at least need to be aware of the primary universe.

At any rate, I can't see a mirror universe series that would not have references to the primary universe.


The mirror universe is great. Love it. But its function on Star Trek is based primarily on the inherent differences from the regular universe. It's always been better as something which was occasionally visited, whereby characters are portrayed in a different way. I'm still not entirely convinced it would work as an entire series.

Prove me wrong, though. I would love it if such a project did turn out to be seriously good.

This would make a good story arc for any future Trek TV shows, not that I think there will be any...
