MonsterQuest on The History Channel went hunting for these 30' long jellies in Australia. I saw the episode about 3 weeks ago. There's enough sting to kill a human in those tentacles.

Australia has some of nature's deadliest. The Taipan the deadliest land snake, Several species of spiders, and the sharks of the barrier reef. Not to mention Saltwater Crocs that can get to nearly 20feet.

Yeah, I think that's the box jellyfish. Not all species are deadly, but not like I'd want to risk running into any to begin with. Even if the sting doesn't kill you, it's so painfully agonizing you'd wish it killed you.

Wow...for a land that's supposedly supposed to be so nice...it sure is deadly.

Is there supposed to be a pic or a link? I don't see anything.
