Default Duct Tape: Miracle of Engineering

What's the most outrageous thing you've ever used duct tape for?
Let's start a list and see how many uses we can come up with.
(Criminal Activities had better not be used, don't want to get in trouble, ya' know).

I've patched a ruptured radiator hose.

I've shored up a wooden bed frame for a few days.

I've used it to secure box covers.

I've also used it to make a makeshift spear for fishing by affixing my bayonet to a length of an ash pole. Worked pretty well to. Managed to spear supper that evening.

Patching my rubber gloves and fixing a hole in a fuel line of a generator are the two best applications that popped to mind.

You know, I have never really jerry-rigged anything with duct tape. I've purchased every brand of duct tape out there, from 3m to the actual "Duck tape", and none of them have ever had what I would call a good adhesive. Sure, the tape itself is strong when you try to pull it in one direction, but in the other direction it will tear like paper. Clear packaging tape has always had a much better adhesive, in my opinion. I wish the fabric tape of "duct tape" lore would be merged with that adhesive! Gorilla tape is pretty darn good, but expensive.

Gorilla Glue has come out with its own version of duct tape.

Everything from temporary auto repairs to plumbing. At work, we made a duct tape ball the size of a basketball and played around with it. It is some really useful stuff that if gone tomorrow, would be sorely missed, almost as much as would toilet paper.
