Smile If They Sold Advance Tickets for Star Trek (2011)

If they sold advance tickets for the next Star Trek movie, would you buy them, and how far in advance?

Please take this pleasant poll. Thank you.

I wouldn't myself. I know I'll see it anyway.

I have purchased advance tickets, but I find it's stupid to buy more than a few days before hand because plans need to be made. I just had to buy advance tickets for Harry Potter because they were selling out, so it does have its purpose.

I don't think there's any point in buying advance tickets for more than a week unless the movie you're going to see is Harry Potter or... *gasps, shudders, gags* Twilight... Star Trek hasn't reached that kind of frenzy yet and as much as I wish it would, I honestly don't think it ever will.

I'd buy my tickets NOW just to show my loyalty.

I'd buy them now, but there's only one problem. I know myself too well. I'll loose them. I'll buy them a few weeks before the movie, if they are available. Otherwise, who knows what drawer they'll end up being stuffed into.

Maybe to an advance screening, you know a Thursday night midnight thing? Like Watchmen.

You'd have to turn a couple of Trek movies into kiddie movies to try to reach the Potter fandom and I don't think anyone wants that.

Do what I do: I printed my Fandango ticket for this last movie and posted it on the wall where I couldn't miss it.

You could even frame it first and hang it on the wall until it's time to use it.

(That DOES sound weird, doesn't it? Okay, forget that idea. )
