If current DVD/Blu Ray trends hold, we'll get the film, then 6 mons.-Year-Or when Trek 12 comes out, we'll get the a Director's Cut, or some other special super duper edition.

The Blu-Ray cover is slightly... interesting, but it's boring. I'm not really picky about the Blu-Ray covers...or any covers, really. All I really care about is the movie. As long as I have the movie on Blu-Ray, I will be a happy girl. If we do, however, get the same cover that the U.K. has for the Blu-Ray and 2 disc DVD version of the movie, I'll live with that.

Does anyone know whether the Star Trek Blu Ray verison will be region free? (as some BR films are) because I have a region A player (US) and live in a region B country (UK).

I really want to BR verison because of the extra video content, why they couldnt have added a 3rd disk to the DVD so both have the same features is beyond me!

As for the cover im really dissapointed that we are not getting the international poster boxart, its by far the best.

Well, we should consider that is may not be THE final cover is gonna look like... for the U.S. of course. But yeah, it would be awesome if we had the international poster has a boxart cover (as I have stated before)... but that's not really my call.

I actually like the revised 1-disc dvd artwork. I just wish they would have something better for the 2-disc & Blu-Ray artwork than the giant "Star Trek" letters with Kirk inside them. It's just too bland imo.
