Cool Mwa ha ha! Midnight Harry Potter!

Well last night I went with several lady-friends to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince at midnight! I took advantage of my red hair to dress up as Ron Weasley, which was fun (red sweater w/ tan-striped collar shirt, khaki pants, red scarf, and wand). It was loads of fun and it was an excellent movie. It has lots of great comedy, although I think it really fails to climax (too much time is spent building up to the end, and then it's over in a flash). We were in the second row, so the screen towered over us and the snow blinded us, but soooooooo much fun!

I got home at 3:30 but was rudely awoken at 10:30 this morning by my dad.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat though!

Not that there's anything wrong with enjoying lady freinds..I have a few times in my life when I was much younger.

Haha, well I thought it was excellent. I haven't yet seen the 5th movie, but I've read the books all probably 3 times, so I had an idea of the story, and they did the best they could with a two hour timeframe. As a movie alone I don't think the plot could hold up without people reading the books, and they left out a lot of content (the house elf uprising and the epic battle) but it had a much better balance and better acting than the previous movies I've seen in the series.

Yeah, I agree with that. The 2 hours constraint these films have allows only the bare bones of some parts of the novels. I guess no one wants to sit through a 5 hour HP movie...lol.

So if they do Deadly Hallows, will they get new kids? Daniel and the rest of the cast look too old for their parts now.
