Planet of the Apes? The first movie isn't that bad, if you take into account genetic engineering of the Apes themselves, and the time dilation... but the sequels were way off... a "time curvature" wouldn't work both ways.
I haven't seen "Idaho Transfer"... any good?

Forbidden Planet-GR stole alot of ideas from this film. While I agree it's not a science log, for the era it was made in, it was a milestone.
Silent Running-Well we could as the same question of TOS and many other Sci-Fi shows and films in space in the 60's and 70's.
POTA-I agree 100% The sequels suffred from steadily decreasing budgets, and poor writing. POTA 1, was Rod Serling all the way on that script.
Idaho Transfer-It's a neat time travel story with a twist, a non conventional time machine. wel lworth it if you find it to see.
