Well, the UK Government is now apparently planning for a full vaccination program covering the entire UK population. To attempt to build a resistance to this strain of the virus.
Which, I imagine, is quite a logistical proposition. Anyways, outwith that, it's not really a proposition that frightens me all that much. Although the infection rate seems like it could be high, the fatality rate is not yet as severe. The regular flu is still killing more people than the swine variant. Most people just feek rough for a few days and then recover with the anti-biotics.

The vast majority of people are able to fight off this strain of the flu. I really think the supposed danger was over hyped. People die of the regular flu every year. I don't see swine flu killing more people than the regular flu.

Besides, if it's been around this long and we're not seeing thousands of people die yet, it would seem to be more hype than anything else.
