I've seen several items floating around about a JLA movie.
Brandon Routh reprising Superman Christian Bale as Batman Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern Kenneth Brannaugh as Aquaman also with Flash, Wonder Woman, and J'on J'onz the Martian Manhunter There's a YouTube video for a JLA movie trailer, but it's just a bunch of clips taken from the Return of Superman, and the Batman movies. There are shots of Flash, looks like it came the TV series from several years back. Wonder Woman looks good, but with the video quality I couldn't tell if it was Linda Carter in those shots or not. There is a shot of someone swimming at high speed but no way to know who it is supposed to be. And several clips of GL in action, mostly a wierd green glow grabbing a cop car, and the lantern insignia on his chest flaring up hiding the face. Looks like fan fare, but I was wondering if anyone else had heard about a 2011 movie for the JLA?

I'd be shocked if Christian Bale agreed to be in it. He's all about character development and I don't think we'd see much of that in an ensemble cast.

Since DC killed Batman, I'm not all that thrilled about comic book movies anymore.

The supposed Green Lantern in those clips was actually a shopped Human Torch from Fantatic Four 2..
The guy swimming is aquaman from Smallville.

Hasn't the JLA film been shunted to 2012/2013 because of delays in making some of the indivdual characters films that need to come out prior?

Try Wikipedia. Apparently Dick Grayson is the new Batman because the old one was struck "dead" by a device wielded by Darkseid that makes life a form of death. However, the original Batman in actuality was only time-displaced, despite the fact that the world saw him as a corpse. Something about witnessing Anthro thousands of years ago.

Yeah, well, do comic book heroes ever really die? There's always a way to bring them back. They have more lives than cats.

The Avengers will be out way before this one will.
