Hi,

anybody in Ireland or the UK watch "V" on SciFi this morning?

it aired 5 hour long (or there abouts) episodes today (with another 5 tomorrow).are these 10 hours the original mini series, or is tomorrow the sequel?

also, I've just watched the first 3 episodes and there is at least one scene missing. the "recap" segment at the start of episode 3 shows Robert Englund meeting his "girlfriend", but that scene did not occur in the two previous episodes. are there any other scenes missing? didn't the original show the reporters getting the tour of the mothership (today the tour was shown with Donovan rewatching it on TV)?

nope not seen in the USA. I have the movie so I will watch it closer to the day the series comes on tv

okay, SciFi have really messed this up.

the first 4 episodes are definately the first 4 hours (approx.) of the original mini series (but there does appear to be scenes missing - can't swear to it, but there is something "wrong" about it. episode 4 ends with Elias spraying a V on a door after he and Parrish send a signal into space hoping to locate the Visitors other enemies.

I than settled in to go straight to episode 5 - only to be presented with an episode of "V - THE FINAL BATTLE"

does the original mini series end with sending the signal into space??

because all the episodes that SciFi are showing today are "V - The Final Battle" - haven't sat down to watch them yet as I was just skimming through the recordings.

okay nevermind. I googled it. this is not at all how I remembered the mini series ending.

I always thought it ended with the Resistence winning and that THE FINAL BATTLE was about Diana coming back for revenge
