So forum, are you a Mac or a PC?

I've got a MacBook Pro.

CPU: Core 2 Duo
RAM: 3 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
Screen Size: 15 inches

I guess I'm PC...
But I'm trying to figure out if I'll get a mac laptop.
I know PC are crap but macs are stupid looking.

Both

MBP (3rd mac) and AMD dual-core (2nd PC tower... not including a PCjr or IBM laptop). While I like my Mac (when it works - on my 4th logic board) a PC tower is essential.

Edit:

PC's can be very good if you build them yourself and spend the time looking around for good stuff at reasonable prices. MBP looks quite nice really but like I said I am on my 4th board (all warranty replacements) and 2nd DVD drive. In 2007 Nvidia supplied Apple with defective video cards. Nvidia tried to cover it up but eventually had to come forward. Cost them something in the 100's of millions because of it. So, Macs are no more immune to bad products than PCs.

I have a PC simply because Apple charge a fortune for Macs (even though they are much sleeker looking and stylish).

The day I can afford a Mac, I'll give them a go.

Actually, if you do get a Mac laptop I would go with either the Aluminum MacBook or the MBP 13 inch, depending on your needs, of course.

I think mine looks rather pretty

Also, the idea of one mouse button is unsettling to some (well, now there isn't even a button, the trackpad itself is a button) but the truth is, you don't need a right click because of the way the OS is set up.

That's the problem...their pretty...all of them...Like their made for girls or Barbie. It's annoying. I can't get something that is sleek or smart or business like. They're........pretty....

I need a computer with good...really good graphics....light weight. For doing CAD.
Thin and long battery life...my Mac Fanatic friend tells me I need a mac...but then that's exactly what he always says.

lmao. Honestly, this is something you'd want a mac for. My MBP's battery lasts around 6 to 7 hours, and it's got a great graphics card, but it's a tad heavy. Maybe the 13-incher would be better, but I'm not sure.

Mine cost around $2,000, but I got it with a lot of extras. Still, if you're buying a new one it'll be over $1,000 based on what you want. A refurbished one would be much less, but you may have trouble finding a good match.

EDIT: after looking about, this (http://store.apple.com/us/product/FB...mco=MjE0NDk5Mw) looks rather nice, but I'm not sure about the graphics.

EDIT 2: and mine is defiantly not "barbie pretty." lmao. actually, it's more modern and functional looking than pretty. Nice and clean, but not pretty. IMHO.
