I saw that there were a couple other threads with the same question. I realize that some people are posting simply for rank, but I think it's more of a curiosity for most people. For those who say it doesn't matter, that's true to an extent. People shouldn't be posting merely to gain rank. Quality is more important than quantity. But the system does exist so it does matter to another extent. Not that the ranks should determine one person's authority over another. We have admins for that. I just happened to notice the other day that my rank had moved up to Ensign. I found it interesting and it made me curious about the other levels, so I set off on my quest for answers. At any rate, I just like being helpful and useful. That and we're slow at work, so I spend a lot of time here waiting for my phone to ring.
