Mix equal parts of Hyrodegen Peroxide, Warm Water, and Vinegar and use a syring to put it in your ear let it fiz in your ear for about 30 seconds. Dont this this is you dont have time to lay down and move much as it will make you dizzy.
I wont help the pain so much but continueing it will help heal your ear. Do it twice a day or so.

I usually use white distilled. Bear in mind it will make you dizzy. My doctor gave me that recipe when I was kid and had a lot of ear infections. IF you use it early it can keep them from getting bad.

Vinegar kills infection, then flush with rubbing alcohol. See if that works.

Hope it's not a wax blockage. I spent an hour having a 5 millimetre bundle of joy dug out of my right ear. I have to use waxsol regularly to stop it building up!

GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!
Okay...I've been the person who couldn't afford the doctor, but I did have to say that. I think the advice you've been given is pretty good. I'd add take a good antihistimine and see if that clears it up...it might be an allergic reaction. If that doesn't do anything after a half hour, I'd suggest taking a decongestant (because, if you're all stuffed up with snot it pushes on your ear drum which can make you think it's just an ear problem). If, an hour after taking the decongestant you are still having ear pain then go to the doctor!!!!

Even straight peroxide is good, if you run out of vinegar.

I would say definitely go to the doctor. (I've had bad ear infections too so I know how horrible it can be!)
um... Until then, you could also try some of the same things that you might use to relieve a blocked nose -- like peppermint tea. It's only a mild temporary relief but could help for a wee while.
