Default Leaked DAY ONE trailer on io9

Planned as a mid-season show for NBC, Day One is a post-apocalyptic nightmare drama series from the mind of Heroes, and Lost executive producer Jesse Alexander. Think of it as a cross between Jericho, and V, another sci-fi remake that will be launched mid-season on ABC. io9 has leaked a trailer with spoilers here,

2 'fight the aliens' shows? Over saturation maybe.

I'm looking forward to "V", i'm not sure if this show has the legs to stand. From the looks of the trailer, the aliens rain the earth with these pods that then hatch and grow these large strange looking plants? But interesting premise, very 9-11ish.

Eh, doesn't look very promising. **sigh** We need a really good, true scifi space show.

If you mean a show that takes place in space, the only one that i know of is ABC's Defying Gravity.

Never heard of it, not surprisingly! Googled it, though- guess it won't be on for months. Supposed to be about 8 astronauts on a space station. We shall see.

Makes those old Star Trek,TOS, etc re-runs sound better and better.

the serious factor is much higher than V
but still there is a corn factor on this one too.

the scene with "I'm a good cop" is the only one I saw that was corny.
hardly enough to be "serious corn".

V does seem (based on trailer and the old series) to consider hot woman to be a priority
