Im just watching what google is doing to GMAIL. Voice and video chat was the last smart thing they've done. Now its just getting reallllllyyyy stupid.

What do mean its getting stupid? I still really like my Gmail.


As far as watching competition. Why not? Seems smart to me.

I don't like Gmail chat because suddenly someone's on the line when all I want to do is check my mail!
It serves me all right. Better than what Hotmail did to their formats I've just about completely given up on them!

I dont have gmail but you should be able to shut that off pretty easily on your email page. Yahoo has the same thing and it could be shut off there.
