Default Best Federation Starship Bridge...

Which Federation Starship bridge was your favorite? Enterprise A in Undiscovered Country is mine.

While I thought that was a nice bridge as well, I ended up voting for
E's. I just watched Insurrection last night and couldn't help but admire
that bridge.

Is it just me, or is the Enterprise D's bridge just too damn bright? And there
is just way too much space on that bridge, too.

NCC1701, the original. It was simple and functional. The Captain in the center seat, slightly elevated and overlooking helm/navigation. Easy access to the other stations. Compact with room for only essential personnel. It's not supposed to be a place where there's a lot of traffic going on. It's readily apparent each person on the bridge oversees specific functions throughout the ship. Closed and confidential environment.

The A's bridge in ST V for me. The film maybe a stinker compared to ST VI, but the bridge looked that much better in V as it had touchpads instead of pushbuttons. The one in VI comes second though with the E's as a runner up.

I don't know. The Bridge in Star Trek Generations is one my favs and it is deff darker. I have to vote Defiant though, from that list. I kinda like how small it is. Most bridges are big, so the smallness appeals.

Well Saquist, looks like it's just you and me for the big A bridge.
