I like your casting choices Saquist, maybe you should be a casting director instead of a CGI draftsman.

You could be on to something Livingston. Saquist does seem to have an eye for these things.

You ever watch Atlantis or Stargate SG-1, RatedNCC? Some of the best casting I've seen in scifi since TNG.

Engineering...hmmm... that actor who plays Mohinder Suresh in Heroes. Sendhil Ramamurthy. Siddig El Fadel(Alexander Siddig) is Sudanese... time to get an Indian on board.

THis crew is mostly guys... shoot... more girls... That's it!

Michelle Yeoh is Captain
Jodie Foster will be engineering
Sendhil will be Science Officer.
James McAvoy is doctor,
Denzel Washington is Security
Joaquin Pheonix is the swiss army knife of abilities since he isn't human.

They will fight Nicole Kidman the Borg Queen. Any suggestions as to her minions/allies?

Actually you're right. Stargate does have some good casting. I used to watch both of them very often but have fallen back on it a little.

I'd like to see Joel Grey in a star trek movie. I think he'd be an interesting villain, but could play many other parts, interesting guy to watch. He'd be a great Vorta on DS9. Was discussing that in another thread. He actually was in an episode of Voyager but he wasn't really given a part that suited him I thought. Brad Duriff also, I liked him in Voyager, interesting character and he was perfect for it.

How about Russell Crowe as Captain?
David Wenham is a great choice but he could play anything, a very versatile actor.

Crowe would be a good captain. He would be a little intimidating but I think he would have pretty good leadership skills.

I thought the four on SG1 worked great together, they had real chemistry and really had that 'team' fill to them. Take one away and it just doesn't quite work right. They did that for awhile and it was like an equation with a part missing.

Atlantis has done a great job too, they have their own team that doesn't seem to be trying to recreate what SG1 had, it's its own animal as does the show, it is different, it is its own animal as any spinoff should be. That's tough to pull off I think. Another show that was cast extremely well I think was Magnum P.I. I know that's sorta out of left field, but man, great casting in that show!

I could definitely see Crowe has a captain. How 'bout Kenneth Branagh as a villain? I could see that.
