Yeah, the script was okay. Aside from bad directing what made it worse was the editing.
They cut literal every major charakter scene in order to make it a action only movie. Total crap. The best scenes of the film are among those which didn't make it in the final version.

There were so many mistakes! They even use the wrong shield diagram in The Tour right now... it shows an early design (the one that was made famous by Playmates since they sold this wrong design as a toy).

Agreed. I want a Writer's Cut of Nemesis (Director's cut, well, that's what we got in the theaters).

You all are idiots! Nemesis is the best (or at least second-best) of the TNG movies. Stop complaining about the continuity glitches and whatnot and think about the plot, the story! Come ON for cryin' outloud!

It's not very nice to call people you hardly know idiots.

And I am looking at the story. I'm not aware of any glarying canon violations in Nemesis, just that the whole thing suffered at the hands of Baird.

I wonder how many crew died or lost limbs when they drove the enterprise into the other ship. Good one Picard.

That did bother me... brace for impact, oh, yeah, and evacuate the forward half of the saucer.

That is the kind of directing that gives us catwalks over endless bowels of the ship that go nowhere for the villain to fall into!

I would say editing and directing was what messed up Nemisis.

I liked it but it would've been much better with that Data/Picard ready room scene in it. That was important and should not have been cut.
