I'm also taking back a sports almanac like in Back to the Future II so that I can make a killing on sports betting!

How would you go about that exactly? I mean if you went back and bet big or even not so big eventually people are gonna start to notice. You'd be the guy who could always pick a winner. Other gamblers would be influenced by you, the bookies would learn who you are. After awhile the teams and various sports figures would learn of you and that would effect their game once they found out who you bet on. Am I getting too deep here for a time travel thread?

Only a little. But the simple answer is to make a killing really fast before anyone is the wiser.

Lol. Would you know when to quit? or for that matter would you be doing a Nero and by going back change things to the point where the almanac would be useless.

When you lose the first 'sure thing' it would be time to dial back. Then for example, if a certain baseball season still worked out as predicted place a reasonably big bet but make sure you lose. Next year if the season works out again then place an even bigger bet and win that time. Yes eventually the book would be worthless. The goal is to become the richest person in the world before then.
