It just doesn't make sense, unless they just can't get enough of "I Love Lucy".
Can you look at the last few posts I made on this other thread?

I would really like to know what it is I saw and what many people have been seeing around here. My experience was years ago and was very different from what many people have seen lately.

Samuel mentioned this in another thread and never answered my question. I am unfamiliar with this.

Take a look at the other thread.

Yeah, you got that right.
In most cases the easiest solution is the best one.

What I want to know then, is how "Ockham's Razor" finds the simplest solution to many sightings, such as my own. Do we simply throw an "unidentified" label on them and let it be?

No, we can try to explain those phenomens. But we shouldn't start with the most unlikely
hypothesis. Simple optical laws can explain those things most of the time.

Can you give me some examples?

based on the first hand accounts of people I know, simple optical illusions (or whatever they are) can only explain basic sightings where someone sees a light that seems to move in a controlled manner. There are wayyyy too many sighting with more detail, controlled maneuvers, and are obviously not naturally occurring. When you compare these "craft" with known and even possible secret prototypes, things get very inexplicable FAST.

Did you see the post where I describe my own "sighting"? I also mentioned a sighting that my wife and her father had (they were together and saw the same object). Her sighting was similar to a few other people I know.

I don't know any better than anyone else really if there is other life of that tech level out there or not.

If there is - then it's as likely they visited Earth before man existed, as during his early days as not at all and they have yet to visit. Or there may be something in experiences people have claimed to have.

I'm not qualified to debunk or deny the claims so I keep the possibility open.

The most logical expaination is usually the truth. Now we just need to agree on what is logical!

I tend to think it's possible for us to eventually reach other planets. Logically, that means others can and have done it before us.

UFOs and E.T.s are related phenomena, but some UFOs can be explained as advanced experimental human-made aircraft, but there are many UFO sightings where the UFOs are doing things no human made aircraft has ever done, that violate the laws of physics, etc. Other UFOs are possibly explained not as intelligently controlled aircraft, but atmospheric-energy phenomena. I don't wish to classify your experience, but not all UFO experience are suggestive of E.T. life.
