Default Which eyebrow is Spock supposed to raise?

Seems in TOS it was the right one. (I can do it!) But Quinto raised his left. Think maybe he didn;t know how to raise his right? I can't raise my left. They could have done a mirror shot and it would have looked like he raised his right. Nitpicking, I know. But the new movie has me watching TOS again, and Spock raises his right eyebrow.

I can only raise my right, but I am right handed, I don't know if right dominance plays a part or not.

I can only raise my left, but I'm right handed, so I guess it's a question of chance?

DeForest Kelley could raise either one.

I can raise both and waive them. Makes people laugh.

The right one came naturally to me (thank you very much) but once I worked on the left I got it in no time. ^ I can do the wave also in addition to the Vulcan salute with both hands.

I can only raise my left, and I'm left handed. Quinto is left handed. Nimoy is right handed. I suspect that the more ambidextrous among us don't hold to the "eyebrow-hand" link....

I can do the Vulcan salute with either hand, but if I recall that is also a right-handed salute.

I've been rewatching TOS recently: Nimoy could do either, I guess depending on camera angle and mood. Occaisonally he'd switch in the one shot: his eyebrows seem to be far more mobile than most people, certainly more so than Quinto.

I doubt it's connected with the salute but fwiw I'm right handed, can do the Vulcan salute easily with either hand, only the right brow.
